I don't have that book. Todd Horton The C of G cars in that number series (6300-6999) were delivered in 3 separate lots between 1941 and 1945. ________________________________ From: Tim O'Connor <timboconnor@...> To: STMFC@... There's a fine 1958 color photo of CG #6658 in the front end sheet of the book "West From Omaha" that shows the original paint scheme, heavily weathered. In the same book, on page 173, is a 1953 shot of single door CG #4589 in the Nancy Hanks repaint scheme. The car has a Superior door. I am trying to determine if the lettering set from Greg Komar with the "Billboard" lettering (for lack of a better term) is correct for 1950? I have no preference for this lettering set I am really just looking to use the most prevalent scheme for 1950. As for doors I am going to see if I can get a set of Red Caboose doors from their 40 foot double door boxcar and then just cut down the left hand door as this will allow me to use the cast on door hardware. Everything else looks very straight forward. Thanks Shay Stark Clinton, Utah [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
