I wasn't aware that the Old Woman had these cars until I looked at the
1/53 ORER. The giveaway to the New Haven Design was 2,448 cubic feet -
the B&M used a different measurement system which resulted in the 2,467
cf.
I hope that's not the extent of the evidence, as 2,448 cf is what you
get for a car measuring 8-ft tall by 8'6" wide by 36-ft long. Cars as
diverse as the Pennsy XL, NYC's 1906 truss-rod design, and N&W's
steel-frame boxes all fit those dimensions and were completely unrelated to
the New Haven design.
