Re: NYO&W freight cars in interchange?

FWIW, the hoppers were mostly either USRA with a few GLa style and were
black with white reporting marks and data and litttle else.
The USRA cars came along fairly late, and in rather small numbers. In
looking through various ORERs, it seems the only steel hoppers NYO&W
bought new were 18001-18900, 19000-19399, and 19400-19699, all "early
standard" cars, in the teens and twenties. Everything else looks to be
secondhand beginning around 1930. 11000-11999 and 12500-12699 would
almost have to be ex-C&O, for example.
