Go to an auto parts store and ask them to pull out there selection of vacuum caps, they are available in both rubber and silicon, expand slightly to push over the axle end, and are inexpensive enough to be a "consumable" in the paint booth when they do eventually go away (takes quite a few axles to make that happen). I have a commercial styrene wheel mask for keeping
the paint off the treads (spraying). However the axel
ends are not masked. Short of something applied to
each end does anyone know of a cap (silcone,
rubber, etc.) that is available to just plug on each axel
end?
