Interesting concept of using it on approaches to barges.
I got to thinking (I know that can be dangerous) using the rail for the inside guardrail on trestles and bridges and a single inside guard rail for tight curves.
Now for the rivet counters, use it for the support flooring on a water tank.
I just thought of a good use, I'm building a commission project of a NP two rail trestle type coal dock and as of now the rail will be the only two pieces that are NOT styrene.
So I guess I'm not that far off, looks like there was water in the pool. <G>
