I'm wondering if this car was in dedicated (non interchange) service?

Subject: [STMFC] Ga&Fla green howe truss/ sawtooth/ fowler clone boxcar

hi

i am wondering if anyone can say definitively what this G&F car is?

http://public.fotki.com/cddx1/railroad/gf-color-photos/g-f-f-176.html

i'm told it's a fowler clone sawtooth boxcar and that the SOO had some like it.

i find the term 'fowler' difficult to understand- quite apart from anything because it merely refers to the way the boards are fastened together and it's been disowned a bit in recent years, and wonder if it is used interchangably with what sunshine models call AC&F 'small road howe truss boxcars'. perhaps this is what this car is?

however the number on this car doesn't tally with the series of G&F cars.

also, i am wondering if anyone has a plan of it that just gives the basic measurements, (or something close from another RR.)

regards,

ben
