The Subject O and S scale meet, featuring many scale items
including SP equipment and steam era freight cars, is coming
up next weekend. The LDSIG/OPS annual meet starts on
Saturday, so if you are available Friday and interested in O
and S scale trains, drop by.

This will be the 23rd and 8th consecutive annual meet
for O Scale West and S West.

The meet is at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa
Clara, CA. Registration opens Thursday at 3PM; there are
not your normal commercial RR movies that night. Registration
Friday starts at 8AM; the doors open at 9AM. Registration
before Saturday will cost you $30 for you, your spouse/SO,
and all children related or not under 18 YO; $20 on
Saturday the last day of the meet.

There will be about 200 tables of O and S scale goodies,
4 on-site layouts, about 10 clinics some by prominent members
of these groups, a favorite model contest that usually draws
some very nice models, and 30 home and club layouts open for
DIY visiting during the meet. More info is on the web site,
