This image was taken in 1922 at the opening of the Puritan Ice Company facility in Santa Barbara, CA. This facility was located on the Southern Pacific so the refrigerator car likely is a PFE reefer.
Can anyone identify what type/brand of ventilation hood this is?
A glance at the PFE book shows it's at Bohn ventilator. These were last used on PFE production cars in 1913, Class R-30-6, except for the R-50-1 cars built in 1927.
