The Railway Prototype Cyclopedia #27 covers the 1958 cuft cars and it mentions that some railroads labeled them as 1892 cuft cars and it's based upon to what height the car lading was filled to.  They are the exact same car.  I'm away from my copy of the book and I'm not able to look up who built the LNE cars.
