In the environmental lab where I work, nitrile gloves are used as protection against acetone and several other (stronger, nastier) organic solvents that we use in the prep lab.

The ones we have are purple; IIRC I've seen paramedics and medical professionals use them as well.  I'm pretty sure I've seen them for sale at Home Depot.
