Yes, that's where the PS-1s they ordered new went, but apparently not the ex NWSW ones. Those 8 cars remain the most annoying hole in LNE dospositions.

IIRC, the suggestion in an old discussion I dug up on this was that the PS1s that went to the L&NE went to the SOO ? Does that ring any bells?
