That is undoubtedly true, but the Kadee bracket is similar to the Burnett Brake Pipe Anchorage and Angle Cock Holder. It's a little short, but then again, Kadee's coupler boxes are a little wide. These date from the WWI ear; the prototype illustration is from the 1922 CBC.
