Plans for the C&O car appeared in MM & there's a photo of the ACL car in the RMC rolling stock plan book.

Why not start with an ambroid stock car kit? You can snag them for $10-12 on e-bay. Or an Ulrich Pratt truss side frame?

Anyone buy a 4/4 Dreadnaught end from Intermountain (part of their ART reefer kit)? Is it any better than the Details West square corner Dreadnaught end?

How good is Intermountain now in supplying freight car parts?
