APG is about to increase by 50%, my sister lives in the area and a great deal of work is being done to make entering and exiting the base much more efficient. In fact, my sisters house has seen a dramatic increase in value, almost back to pre-2007 days, due to the influx of personnel. I believe several Ft. Lee VA units are relocating to APG over the next few years so any idea that the Army is 'giving up' APG is ridiculous at best.
