I believe that should be CASO. The number fits in with boxcars assigned to CASO. 
Car Series #138000-138299. Rebuilt in 1937 from Michigan Central auto boxcars to NYC 138000-138299. Lot 669-B. Reassigned to Canada Southern Roster 1941 to 1967 in revenue service. A few remained in work service up to the 1985 CN/CP takeover.

Found this car. Can not find what railroad this car belongs to. GASO car number 138191.  It was in Duluth MN in 1959 with a coal load. I  went through a Jan 1958 Official Railway Equipment Register looking for reporting marks. Can anybody help identified
