The averages suggest the loads were limited by depth of stacking and total floor space, rather than cubing out, since the
density of potatoes is probably within 10% the density of grains (? - speculating - someone on this list will know ;-)

Aye-yuh, potatoes run ~60#/bu (but, like the shrinking Hershey bar, are today sold in 50# sacks.) Corn is 56#/bu.
