I'm building a model of the last series of GN's home built plywood sheathed boxcars, series 10500-10899. The only photo I have of one of these cars is on page 38 of RPC #19.
I have two questions: Does anyone know the correct brake gear for these cars?
And, what would be a close paint match for the GN vermillion used on these cars? I would prefer an acrylic paint, if possible, and I'm not worried about an exact match.
Of course the location of any other photos would also be appreciated.
