I discovered that I had a couple of stored away Plastruct cement bottles that had allowed some of the contents to seep away.

I resorted to a very vintage ‘fix’ that I once read about…… I smeared the bottle threads with Vaseline petroleum jelly and re-closed them. I don’t know if that’s a great fix for this. But it does work well for sealing our model paint jars. If it slows down the evaporation of the solvent when closed up, I’ll be satisfied.
