Different Richard here, but that flying A logo on the tank car is the logo for Associated, so that's some evidence that it could be an AOX car.

What are the chances that this car was one of the Associated Oil cars before
they were taken over by Tidewater? �AOX did have three compartment cars, but
the only photo I have of one is too blurry to make any concrete conclusions.
