Jim Dick has dug up a very interesting photo of a Midland Continental train, from November, 1953. This RR was a short line in North Dakota, with less than 70 miles of track, and owned no fright cars of its own at this date.

There are five x29’s in the first 18 cars, including one in Merchandise Service.
At least two more PRR cars are further back in the train.
Is the 20th car back, a ATSF rebuild, with ‘The Grand Canyon Line’ slogan?
Cars 24 and 25 are Soo stock cars.
