I have a vague recollection of those days. Well, actually a sharp recollection. And it wasn't that long ago. When I went to the CSRM library a few years back they wouldn't copy ORERs that they didn't have duplicates of. So I transcribed the pages I needed from maybe 30 or so ORERs (I wanted the C&S info from every ORER they had). It was mildly tedious but I got the info I wanted. And actually it was easy to do.

First of all, you should make the effort to "qualify." Second, YOU can't make copies, but I was told they will make them from the more durable issues. Third, remember the days when we took notes on what we read? You know, back in the day.
