Below is a partial list of CPR 40' steel-frame auto cars extracted from the extensive roster list created by Ian Cranstone from ORER entries..



The 8th column is the door width.



The new Yarmouth kit represents cars in series 297500-297799 built in 1923 with 13-6 door openings.



Note that this number series were no longer in revenue service after April 1957.

In 1956 some of this series were renumbered to 40347-40435 for CPR company service.



The numerous series of CPR steel-frame auto cars had many variations included the door-opening width, side sill shape and ladder type.



Any surviving original arch bar trucks were replaced before 1939 when arch bar trucks were banned for interchange in North America.
