The boxcar has the second grab iron installed, so it’s a later time than some earlier pictures. The rail it is on is very small with no tie plates and not enough of a view to determine if it’s on an industry owned track.

That actually looks like it is in an early RR museum. Note the unballasted track, KEEP OFF signs on just about everything, barbed wire strung between the boxcar and tender and over the front foot boards, and what appears to be either a gas electric or early oil electric boxcab behind the engine in the foreground. If I had to guess, the formative years at Steamtown in Bellows Falls, VT.
