SAL rebuild 100 former composite gone into auto cars, the A class (first 50) and the A-1 class, (second 50) in 1936 and 1937.  I have an ICC report the composite tons that says by 1940 that they should be retired.  Seaboard used those composite gon frames to build the auto cars, and also wood racks, and newer gons, and other cars.
