I asked the question below, and found the answer in a direct email to Rapido. You can reserve a single car by emailing them, or perhaps by calling them.

The last 500 cars in the series, 14000-14499, had 3/5 Dreadnaught ends. And NP changed the number of grab irons on the side of the last series to 7 from the 6 on the earlier series.
