When I built my paint booth, I used a couple of computer cooling fans with induction motors (no sparks from a commutator) and a furnace filter at the back of the booth, and used plexiglass for the top. I painted the inside white and lined the sides and bottom with static plastic wrap which I change every so often. I got my fans from and electronics surplus company, but they are available from Digikey and probably other suppliers.
