Modelers wanting closer-to-scale couplers welcomed the Kadee “whisker” and Sergent parts but matching, equally-detailed coupler boxes have not been available … until now!

A couple weeks ago, production began on the new Accurail/Sergent-compatible coupler box kits.  Today, companion coupler boxes are announced.  These parts are designed to accept Kadee #158 “Whisker” and Sergent “Compatible Shank” couplers and will be produced in (3) colors, with and without Kadee couplers.  Parts will be available the second week of March, assuming my pattern source doesn’t experience more weather delays (10 inches of snow buried them yesterday).
