I pretty much follow Bruce's regimine in terms of no washing and cleaning flash from parts. I sometimes will start the truck hole by tapping a third to halfway in and then the the 2-56 screw do the rest, other times let the screw do all of the work. I depend how much resin material surrounds the bolster area. I media bast w/baling soda.
