One of the Morning Sun NKP steam color books...Vol 3 I think...has a color roof shot. The photo is really of the dead steamers taken from the roof of one of these cars on the dead line so it has to be about 1960. Anyway, FWIW, the roof is rusted galvanized by that point in time. Bill Darnaby

It's very well done with lots of extra detail and what I'm
almost certain is one of my 50' resin replacement Viking roofs.
But the roof is painted silver, and I thought those NKP cars had
