Good find, Elden - thanks for the heads-up.

From CASO freight car roster for NYC: LS&MS gon #38558 was part of lot LS-79 built by Pressed Steel 1904, 1000 cars LS&MS #'s 38000-38999 in the period 1904-1922, with renumbering going on from 1916 to NYC #'s 326000-326999, apparently retired by 1935.
