    I've never had any luck using MEK to join Plexiglas.  I use a acrylics cement from TAP plastic.  The can says Dichloromethane contains;

Methylene chloride
Trichloroethylene
Methyl Methacrylate Monomer

    Anyone know a chemist?:-D
