I agree with you, Bill, I was only providing a lower cost alternative. I tried Kadee, but didn’t like them, and Kadee wheel sets leave much to be desired. I never use them.

I perfer the Athern truck over the Proto 2000  B-1 truck which came out first.  The Athern truck was donr for their Santa Fe 50' refers.  It features the "In line" brake shoes.  I was not aware of the Kadee.
