             I.m using an old dryer motor for my booth. It's been in use now for 30 years with no problems.

The type of motor is irrelevant. The reality is that the vapor is never present in sufficient concentration to burn or explode. You could theoretically airbrush with an open flame and it would not be a problem.

I think the only fan motors that would be remotely dangerous would be ones with brushes.  And I can't recall such a motor in a vent fan in decades, if ever.  I have installed a number of them.
