So Bob, What about us WP fans? 🤪 WP caboose 778 is one of the original 50 Haskell & Barker cabooses built for the WP in 1910. It received a steel underframe in a mid-1920s rebuild at the Sacramento shops, but retained its truss roads. The car was wrecked at Carbona (wherever that is) and written off in November 1945. The GN boxcar is one of those 1937 single-sheathed boxcars that the Athearn kluge is supposed to resemble, but is actually a mish-mash with tooling from their original 5/5 end steel boxcar model.
