RE: Rounding

Once the ARA/AAR/whomever went to “whole” inches…

-       Inside dimensions are rounded DOWN to the whole inch value

-       Outside dimensions are rounded UP to the whole inch value.

For example, in the NMRA 1/53 ORER reprint, see p786 and after

And I’ve seen B&M dimensions xx/16”

Just gotta laugh at their belief that they could hold that!
