Description:

Railroad workers use a fixed gantry crane to transfer stacks of lumber between narrow gauge flat cars, and a standard gauge gondola car in the railroad yard at Alamosa (Alamosa County), Colorado. Cables are used to hoist the bundled lumber between Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad cars.

The standard gauge car is a B&O gondola but the car number is not clear.
