This very sharp photo should answer the question posed a week or so ago, as to what was included in the light weight stenciled on these container cars. Note that each container is stenciled with its own light weight; the car only includes any brackets fixed to the car. If the total light weight was needed, say for weighing the complete loaded car, all the light weights of the containers had to be added to the light weight stenciled on the car.
