I hate to stir up trouble with all the references to great looking shingles, but the original email was about company houses. While I believe all the shingles mentioned are nice, company house weren’t always nice. The companies tried to keep the expense of building houses at a minimum, especially remote coal or lumber camp houses. Roll roofing was cheaper and easier to install, hence, many company houses had roll roofing when built. I suggest at least evaluating roll roofing for your company houses.
