I was just browsing through the "Classic Freight Cars" 40' box car books. I found some candidates that might work using Accurail cars.
CN 573500-574699 really cool double door car. Would like to know a little about the proto, like what roof it had?
CB&Q 28000-28599 Looks shorter and not sure of the roof?
LNE 8001-8750 again the roof is not easy to identify
GB&W 6000-6298 I can see if these cars had fishbelly underframes, ends and door, but the roofs car a mystery.

Thanks for any help given. Would like to turn my Accurail SS kits into something useable on the layout.
