I’m ready to start decaling the Tichy PFE reefer and have a question about the car series. Decaling a car for post 1950. Is the series 38563-39063? I’ve seen one built up model numbered 71737 so a little confused.
The reason for the higher numbers is that PFE was rebuilding older cars at the same time as the new R-40-4 cars were built, and the rebuilds were done to those standards. The rebuild cars were PFE 71273-71953.
