The late Paul Lyons and I took the plastic casting from the Intermountain kit and had them cast up. We used them in lew of the plastic ones that came in the kit.

Quite some time ago, I got a set of parts for some resin cars, miscellaneous plastic and metal detail parts for resin castings. One of them is the two-rung sill steps that PFE placed under reefer doors after about 1947. I show them below. Can anyone identify the maker? I have looked in the Precision Scale material and not found them, nor are they in old Cal-Scale catalogs. Any help appreciated. |
