Only one way to find out -- Offer them for sale on Ebay, and see what you get.

The absence of trucks and wheels would not bother anyone on THIS mailing list, since the trucks
are most likely not prototypically correct for the particular car. (Not a fault of the kit, but railroads
bought trucks according to their preferences.)

Do the kits have value to Railroad Modelers?  Have they lost value and would that value be 70%, 50% or 40% of the complete kit as from the manufacturer?
