Has anyone worked with the Merle Rice castings, specifically the ones for the Tennessee Central boxcar? I want to build the original version and he advises the car orriginally had a flat panel roof like from the Red Caboose X-29 cars. I tried one and it's too narrow. Solutions or alternatives?
