Yes, indeed in smaller capacity cars, and, due to toxicity in cars dedicated
to that service alone. The Ethyl Corp. was a major supplier of the tetraethyl
lead used as an anti-knock retardant in gasoline. Their private owner herald
and logo was quite a colorful triangular herald and produced at one time in a
decal set by Walthers. Ethyl Corp. tank cars have been shown in various
editions of the Car Builders Cyc.
