The term "outside-swing-hanger" is correct for describing a truck allowing lateral bolster movement from suspension points outside the truck sideframe. Many of the GSI caboose trucks used by the UP and the EMD F and GP truck (the so-called "Blomberg trucks") are all outside-swing-hanger trucks. The UP "Streamliner" fleet of the 1950s and 1960s also rode on outside-swing-hangerr trucks.
