This morning I checked the two M&StL cars that were mentioned as getting into
MofW service, against the negatives I have of both cars. X846 is definately
marked as the kitchen-bunk car, and X847 is definately marked as the tool car.
This was a bit unusual for the M&StL, which usually settled for just the
number, without any further identification.

The question is: was X846 still rebuilt from boxcar 52004, and X847 from
52144?
