Front Range also made a centered double door car with welded sides -- used by a few roads including SP.
Whatever happened to the Front Range tooling? Did somebody buy them or did they end up getting scrapped? I seem to recall there were a lot of politics and general bad feelings involved with the demise of Front Range, but I never heard any of the dirty details.
