The Kadee H34A model http://www.kadee.com/ca/ps2/8311l.htm has
a built date of 1955...

On the cover of Freight Car Journal #32 is a photo of PRR
H-34 number 256145, built April 1954 -- about a year before
the Kadee date. It has a DARK PAINTED ROOF! (The photo is
b/w so I can't tell if it's black or PRR freight car red.)
Also, the hatch spacing is different on the H34 photo than
on the Kadee model.

Was there more than one paint scheme applied to H-34's? What
is the breakdown of number series and sub-classes?
