Looking at LifeLike's website, there is no longer a listing for
Proto 2000 as
a separate entity other than archived cars, and the locomotives.
There is
one car listed under new releases. Anyone know what this bodes? Are
they
cutting back or eliminating the line? Or am I making too much out
of this?

Going to their site and clicking on the PROTO button shows the full line for me, and I just got a Proto 2000 catalog from Germany (in German) last month.
