Re: Augie Hiscano

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Augie's passing. We met as kids
back in the late '60s racing slot cars on rival teams. I
occasionally saw him in subsequent years at Orange Blossom Hobbies
in Miami where there were a lot of models in the display cases (the
place was a former bowling alley so there were plenty!) that he had
painted and/or detailed. I saw and renewed acquaintances at a
Prototype Rails meet where Augie was a presenter as Mike mentioned.
He will be missed by the hobby as well as family.

This morning I must be the bearer of sad news. Augie Hiscano
passed away
unexpectedly at his home this last Thursday. Those that have
attended
Prototype Rails at Cocoa Beach might have attended the various
miniature
machining and milling clinics that Augie presented there.
